Welcome to Filess.nl ("Filess", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using our website and file sharing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
Filess.nl is a temporary file sharing platform that allows users to upload files and generate a shareable download link. Files are stored only for the duration selected by the user during upload.
When uploading a file, you may choose how long it remains available. Available storage periods range from:
3 hours
Up to 1 day
After the selected expiration time has passed, the file is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers. Expired files cannot be recovered.
We respect your privacy.
We do not copy, download, view, or otherwise access the contents of uploaded files unless required by law or when necessary to investigate abuse of the service.
Files are stored solely for the purpose of providing the requested file sharing functionality. We do not use uploaded files for advertising, data mining, AI training, or any other unrelated purpose.
You are solely responsible for any files you upload, store, or share using Filess.nl.
You agree not to upload, store, or distribute content that:
Violates any applicable law or regulation.
Infringes intellectual property rights.
Contains malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful software.
Is intended to facilitate illegal activities.
Contains child sexual abuse material or other prohibited content.
Is defamatory, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful.
We reserve the right to remove files, suspend uploads, or restrict access to the service if we reasonably believe it is being used for unlawful or abusive purposes.
While we strive to provide reliable service, Filess.nl is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent uptime, or that files will always remain accessible until their expiration time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Filess.nl shall not be liable for:
Loss of uploaded files.
Data corruption.
Service interruptions.
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service.
Users are responsible for maintaining their own backups.
You retain ownership of any files you upload.
By uploading a file, you grant Filess.nl the limited permission necessary to temporarily store and transmit the file solely for providing the requested service.
We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time if these Terms are violated or if required to protect the security or integrity of the platform.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Filess.nl after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
